The 23rd of May saw CDX17 take place at Silverstone. The event is the largest motor trade expo and conference in the UK, attracting over a hundred leading suppliers, keynote speakers from high profile brands, and thousands of guests. The success of the show means plans are underway already to make 2018 an even bigger and better year.
There were plenty of highlights to this year’s event, including the Discovery Zone where new products and brands were showcased. Several stands grabbed attention due to the incredible work they had been doing. GForces for example showcased their internet software and services they offer to the motor trade. Some stands went the extra distance to attract people, offering things like a virtual reality racing simulator.
Facebook was even in attendance at the event. They offered a special workshop for dealers designed to help them with their marketing and driving conversions to their dealership. The idea was to showcase the benefits that advertising on Facebook can offer. The workshop was such a big success that the social media giant has now decided to offer a series of online courses for dealers to do more with their advertising.
