Fiat Chrysler Automobiles are hoping to spend 9 billion euros, or 20 percent, of its total budget for capital expenditures through 2022 on developing electrified vehicles to comply with new emission standards in order to catch up with the rest of the market for gas-electric hybrids and full electric vehicles.
Its product mix and strategy will vary from market to market. It has been said that on this coming Friday, a new 5 year business plan will bring electric-vehicles to showrooms in 2020, including brands like Jeep, Maserati and Fiat 500.

Currently, Jeep are on target for selling roughly 1.9 million cars a year, Alfa-Romeo are building sales to £440,000 per annum, and Maserati are almost doubling their sales of 100,000 last annum!
